NPIG INSIDER: WEBINAR ON MEDICAL ASSISTANCE IN DYING

Join us for the December edition of this webinar series on Medical assistance in dying (MAiD).
When it became legal in June 2016, MAiD altered the landscape for all health professionals. As many of you know, one of the most significant changes is that NPs can provide this health service. Join RNAO, in partnership with NPIG, for the December edition of NPIG Insider, "Trends and Reflections on NP involvement in MAiD".

NPIG Insider is a monthly webinar series for NP members of RNAO to network, share, learn, discuss, and collaborate on issues relevant to their practice.

Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018 from 5 - 6 p.m. (ET)

Guests:

Dirk Huyer, MD, Chief Coroner for Ontario
Sally Bean, JD, MA, Director, Health Ethics Alliance and Policy, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre

  • Get an update on the status of MAiD in Ontario
  • Share insights on clinical and organizational considerations in providing MAiD
  • Reflect on and discuss next steps for NPs involvement in MAiD

This event is free and open to all NP members of RNAO.
