Dear NPIG Members:
Happy new year! I have reviewed and updated the "RNAO/NPIG Terms of Reference" document for 2024.
Details about changes
The new terms of reference includes a new role, Member at Large (two positions) – see the highlighted portion in the draft. This role does not have a formal executive network officer (ENO) role but will provide support to NPIG executive ENOs as required. It will also support planning for the annual RNAO/NPIG NP Knowledge Exchange Symposium (fall) and NP Institute (spring).
The Member(s) at Large will have voting rights as part of the NPIG executive. These positions will alternate years to ensure continuity of mentoring to the important work.
I have also clarified and/or simplified some of the language previously in the NPIG Terms of Reference. My changes are also highlighted for you to review.
Voting requirement to approve the changes
The proposed addition of the Member at Large role to the NPIG executive is a substantial change to the NPIG Terms of Reference. Thus, it will require a "one member, one vote" process. To review the proposed terms of reference and to cast your vote please click https://myrnao.ca/npig_tof_vote2024
