Upcoming education opportunity

  • An Update on HPV-Related Cancers in Canada: Burden, Impact, Prevention, and Counselling Opportunities for Nurses ( see attached flyer for more details)

Opportunities to participate in research

  • Calling all Ontario baccalaureate nursing students! A study is being conducted to examine Ontario nursing students' intentions to stay in the nursing profession and the factors that may predict intention to stay. If you are currently a baccalaureate nursing student who would like to participate in this study, please visit this webpage: https://uwo.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3rWULkg5Q86d2fA
  • Researchers at Memorial University and collaborating sites (i.e., Western University, Dalhousie University, Simon Fraser University, Université de Sherbrooke) are conducting a national study investigating the impacts of funding models on the roles of registered nurses in primary care entitled “The Impact of Funding Models on the Integration of Registered Nurses in Primary Health Care Teams”.  Registered nurses form the core of interdisciplinary primary health care teams across many jurisdictions in Canada; however, relatively little is known about the impact of funding models on their integration within primary care teams.

We are conducting a national online survey of registered nurses in primary care and would like you to participate. To participate, you would be asked to complete one online survey (~15 minutes). The survey includes questions related to your primary care workplace, time spent on different work activities, and your experiences related to team functioning and patient co-management.

Upon completion, you will have the option of being entered into a prize draw to win one of three $300 VISA gift cards. Please access the link below if you wish to participate:
