Parish Nursing Interest Group Name Change
On December 21, 2018, Chief Executive Officer Doris Grinspun informed us that the RNAO Board of Directors has approved our proposed name change. We will now be known as Faith Community Nursing Interest Group (FCNIG). This decision was made based on the results of One Member One Vote, with a 95.5% (a high majority) of our members who voted, approved the name change. We thank all of our members who took the time to vote.We believe that this will help us to grow in membership and expand our influence in promoting the spiritual dimension in nursing in all health care settings.
We will be working with Home Office to fully implement this name change on our website and other areas. You will be informed as these changes are made.
