Hello fellow OPANA members,
I am happy to announce that the Ontario PeriAnesthesia Nurses Association (OPANA) will have a virtual fall symposium on Oct. 22, 2022 from 9 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. ET. The theme is Refresh, Renew and Refocus.
The symposium will be an excellent opportunity to refresh our perianesthesia knowledge. Continuing education hours will be granted. The cost is $10 for OPANA members and $40 for non-OPANA members. Please register at https://www.opana.org/conference/.
We will also have our annual AGM to discuss the upcoming goals and an overall review of OPANA. We also have some vacant positions on the board of directors that we would like to fill:
- president-elect
- treasurer-elect
- secretary-elect
- director of educational resources
- a few regional directors-at-large. If you are interested in any positions, please let me know.
Lastly, this is a friendly reminder to renew your OPANA membership for this upcoming year. OPANA will continue to offer educational opportunities in 2023, and our national conference will be held in Ottawa on May 13 – 14, 2023.
