Happy PeriAnesthesia Nurses Week!

Posted on Feb. 9, 2018, 9:11 p.m.

Dear OPANA members,

First of all, I would like to welcome you to a new communication platform on the RNAO website!  It has taken me a little bit of time to learn to navigate myself through the new RNAO Chapters & Interest Groups website and I'm finally ready to post my first email to you all.  Although this post will be late, I hope you all had a very happy PeriAnesthesia Nurses last week!

Each week I hear about the amazing work going on in PeriAnesthesia units across the province and am reminded of how proud I am to lead OPANA. The knowledge and skills you all have helps to keep our patients safe, secure and well-cared for as they embark on their perianesthesia journey. Please give each other a hug and celebrate the amazing nurses you are during our specialty week! Proud to be a PeriAnesthesia Nurse!

A few things I'd like you all to keep in mind:

*If you take pictures of your colleagues and celebrations you may have at your workplaces, please feel free to send them for addition to the OPANA website photo album to info@opana.org
