Dear NRIG members,
Nominations for open NRIG executive positions for the 2018-2020 term have ended. Results of the nomination process are as follows:
Secretary: Oona St. Amant, RN, PhD (acclaimed). Oona is an Assistant Professor at Ryerson University and will serve in the Secretary role for the 2018-2020 term.
Membership Officer: Christina Moldovan (acclaimed). Christina has held the Membership Officer role since the fall 2017. She will continue in the role until 2020.

The Title of Dr. Downey’s Presentation is: ‘As the Crow Flies’: Making Space for Culturally Relevant Research Collaboration with Indigenous People.

Dear NRIG members,
This is a reminder to apply for the 2018 NRIG Scholarships and Research Grants! The deadline is March 31, 2018:
1) NRIG Graduate Scholarships: Two NRIG scholarships valued at $1,500.00 each will be awarded to an NRIG member currently enrolled in a PhD program, preferably nursing. Members who have previously received an NRIG Graduate Scholarship or NRIG Research Grant are not eligible. Applicants must be members of NRIG for a minimum of 2 years.
Applications are now open! $7,000.00 in Scholarships and Research Grants are now available!
