2019 NLN.ON Awards
Now Open – Deadline January 25th, 2019
To assist in the development of current and emerging leaders, NLN.ON is proud to offer six awards and grants in support of nursing leadership development, research, innovation, and celebrating exemplary nurse mentors. Based on feedback from our members, we have made some exciting changes to the following grants and awards:
1. The Nursing Leadership Network of Ontario Research Award is available to NLN.ON members who are currently leading a research study as part of their formal graduate studies OR practice based research conducted in the clinical setting. The award is in the amount of $2,000.00
2. NEW in 2017 !!!!! The Nursing Leadership Innovation Seed Grant is available to NLN.ON members who are currently in a formal leadership role (e.g. Manager, Director role, etc.). The purpose of the grant is to support the introduction of a small-scale innovation / quality improvement project within your practice setting. The award is in the amount of $2,500.00
3. Sue Matthews Exemplary Mentorship Award: This peer- nominated award is presented to an NLN.ON member who demonstrates exemplary mentorship to others in their practice. We have greatly improved and simplified the nomination process to make it easier to celebrate the exemplary nursing leaders in Ontario. The award is in the amount of $1,000.00
