Join us for a screening of “Beyond the Body,” a unique documentary of South Asian youth tackling the diabetes epidemic in the Peel Region. Filmed through a health equity lens, this documentary calls for reflection and action around the social determinants of type 2 diabetes.
Special guests from the film’s research and production team - Dr. Ananya Banerjee, Amina Khan and Shudipta Islam - will be present to answer audience questions after the viewing. Please see the attached flyer for more details.
