MHNIG and DNIG The Link Between Diabetes & Mental Health

Event poster

Join us on Wednesday March 04 at 7:30 p.m. ET to learn more about the Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) exam. This webinar will cover topics including certification eligibility, exam content and study tips.

Once again our facilitator will be Esmond Wong, pharmacist who has additional prescribing privileges, and certified diabetes educator. He created and maintains the popular website CDE Study Course which has helped over 2000 health care professionals across Canada pass the CDE exam. He works at the Calgary Primary Care Network as the pharmacist team lead and won Takeda's Magnum Opus award in 2014 for excellence in teaching. Esmond is an expert on the CDE and will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the exam.

As a special gift, we will be giving six DNIG members a “Package D” membership to Esmond’s website to help make the CDE studying process smoother and more enjoyable.

If you are (a) registered to write the CDE exam in May 2026, and (b) interested in a membership to Esmond’s website, please let us know so that your name can be included in our draw during the webinar. Note that all memberships to Esmond’s website will expire on July 31, 2026.

Please email Shannon at [email protected] if you have any questions and if you want to be entered into the draw. The webinar is open to all members and colleagues working in diabetes education who are registered or are considering writing the exam in the future. Only DNIG members in good standing will qualify for the membership in the CDE study course.

We hope to see you there!
