Are you a nursing student or new grad who wants to learn about the different types of careers in our profession? Or perhaps you are a nurse looking for something new?
Peel Chapter is proud to invite you to our biannual career exploration event. Join us on Saturday, October 5th, at 12 p.m. for a group discussion with professionals in acute care, education, public health and more while connecting with past students who have written the nursing exam NCLEX.
Get ready to learn about the wide areas of practice within nursing and get tips on a successful job interview. This year, we will have a raffle of the study resources our NCLEX panel used.
Format of the afternoon:
11:30 a.m. Registration opens
12:00pm - 1:00 p.m. NCLEX panel and discussion (study resources raffle)
1:00 pm - 2:00 p.m. Resume skills
2:00 pm - 3:00 p.m. Networking with speakers
3:00 pm - 4:00 p.m. Free mingling session
What: Networking event
When: October 5th 2019, 11:30am - 4:00pm.
Where: Region of Peel (10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton), "Brampton" and "Caledon" Rooms
Cost: $5 (RNAO members) and $7 (non-RNAO members).
