Region 10 Annual Meeting 

Jan 21, 2019 - 6:30 p.m. - Jaguar Room, Mary Pitt Building, 100 Constellation Dr.  

We welcome Kim Van Herk whose presentation will be on homelessness and safe injection sites. 

At this annual meeting we will also elect 14 consultation representatives for the RNAO Annual General Meeting (AGM) in April and prepare a slate of nominations for the available executive positions for the spring election.

RNAO’s region 10 is sponsoring a resume writing workshop on Nov. 16 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in Roger Guidon Hall (451 Smyth Road), University of Ottawa.

The event will be held in room RGN3001 and will be lead by Riek van den Berg.

Dear member,

The Region 10 membership meeting is being held on Oct. 15, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. in the Mary Pitt Building at 100 Constellation Dr. in Ottawa.

The guest speaker for this meeting is Toba Miller, advanced practice nurse for wound, ostomy and rehabilitation. The topic for the meeting will be wound care. 

The 2018-2019 Region 10 budget will be presented in the business portion of the meeting.

Leeds Lanark Grenville (LLG) Chapter is inviting Region 10 to please join for dinner (cost associated) and Annual General Meeting on September 26, 2018 at 5:30pm at The Goose & Gridiron, located at 317 St Lawrence Street, Merrickville.

Hi everyone,   Here are the the details for our region's upcoming membership awards dinner. RNAO's CEO, Dr. Doris Grinspun will be attending and will present our Emeritus and Quarter Century awards. I'm looking forward to seeing you all there!   The dinner will be on Sept. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Mary Pitt Building Cafeteria (100 Constellation Drive Ottawa, Ont.). Dinner will be served to current registered RNAO members.    Registration for the dinner is required by Sept. 7.

The results from the call for nominations for Region 10 are now available. 

The social media executive network officer (ENO) position has been acclaimed by Natania Abebe. 

The workplace liaison position remains vacant (no nominations were received).

No nominations were received for the policy & political action ENO or student liaison, however, I am pleased to announce that Erin Rajhathy has agreed to remain in the policy & political action ENO role and Celine De Rubius has agreed to remain as the student liaison. 

 

This event has been cancelled due to rain. RNAO will refund the monies to those who registered. Thank you for your interest - We hope we will be able to reschedule the speaker for another time - Lyme disease is certainly a timely topic.
