Hello RNAO Members of Region 11,

We hope you and your families, friends, and colleagues are staying safe and healthy!

Next week is Nursing Week 2020! Cheers to all of you – it is a time to reflect, celebrate, and continue pushing nursing forward!

Therefore, Region 11 is inviting you to join us in our first collaborative Spring Forum.

We know that Covid-19 is not the only public health crisis facing our communities, and the opioid crisis is one of many that we cannot forget to discuss and take action on as nurses and RNAO members.

Region 11 Spring Online Forum ~ Nurses' Week Event! 

Region 11 will be hosting a FREE 1-hour online forum during Nurses' Week 2020 in May on a HOT TOPIC of your choice.

We are asking all members to complete a 2-minute survey to gather input on topics our members and non-members would like to discuss with experts.

On January 28th at 530 p.m., we will be having a Nipissing Chapter meeting. The meeting will be held at Twiggs Coffee Roasters; 595 Cartier Street, North Bay. 

We will be discussing upcoming chapter events for 2020 and planning nursing week activities.

On November 19th at 5:30 p.m., we will be having a Nipissing Chapter dinner meeting. The meeting will be held in the Map room at Cecil's Brewhouse and Kitchen; 300 Wyld St, North Bay.

My name is Erin and I am your new social media and communications executive network officer (ENO) for the RNAO Nipissing Chapter.

On Nov. 13 at 5:30p.m., we will be having our chapter meeting. We will be discussing the 2019 AGM call for resolutions, updates from the executive and activities for the 2018-2019 calendar.

Porcupine Chapter is inviting members of Nipissing Chapter to join us on Tuesday, Oct. 16 for a visit from RNAO president Angela Cooper Brathwaite at Timmins and District Hospital (700 Ross Ave. E in Timmins) in the boardroom at 6 p.m. Angela is interested in hearing from nurses in the community about their thoughts and concerns on any issues related to their practice or the health system more broadly.

Hello all!

On behalf of the RNAO – Nipissing chapter, we would like to welcome you Nursing Week 2018. Nursing Week is May 7 - 11 and is a week dedicated to celebrating nurses and their work in this community.

Nipissing chapter is excited to take a part in the week’s celebrations by hosting a meet and greet showcase on Wednesday, May 9 at the Discovery North Bay Museum (100 Ferguson St.) from 10 a.m.-3p.m. A booth will be set up to discuss about the various nursing responsibilities and accomplishments in our community.
