Porcupine Chapter is inviting members of Nipissing Chapter to join us on Tuesday, Oct. 16 for a visit from RNAO president Angela Cooper Brathwaite at Timmins and District Hospital (700 Ross Ave. E in Timmins) in the boardroom at 6 p.m. Angela is interested in hearing from nurses in the community about their thoughts and concerns on any issues related to their practice or the health system more broadly.

On behalf of the RNAO – Nipissing chapter, we would like to welcome you Nursing Week 2018. Nursing Week is May 7 - 11 and is a week dedicated to celebrating nurses and their work in this community.

Nipissing chapter is excited to take a part in the week’s celebrations by hosting a meet and greet showcase on Wednesday, May 9 at the Discovery North Bay Museum (100 Ferguson St.) from 10 a.m.-3p.m. A booth will be set up to discuss about the various nursing responsibilities and accomplishments in our community.

This email is a reminder of our upcoming chapter meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 18 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. This event will take place at the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Boardroom), located at 681 Commercial Street in North Bay.

Main agenda items will include:

• review of proposed resolutions (to be presented at 2018 RNAO Annual General Meeting)
• Nursing Week update
