You’re Invited – Region 11 Spring Forum – Opioids: The Forgotten Crisis

Posted on May 6, 2020, 9:41 a.m.

Hello RNAO Members of Region 11,

We hope you and your families, friends, and colleagues are staying safe and healthy!

Next week is Nursing Week 2020! Cheers to all of you – it is a time to reflect, celebrate, and continue pushing nursing forward!

Therefore, Region 11 is inviting you to join us in our first collaborative Spring Forum.

We know that Covid-19 is not the only public health crisis facing our communities, and the opioid crisis is one of many that we cannot forget to discuss and take action on as nurses and RNAO members.

Join us in a discussion on the opioid crisis and four pillars of the Canadian Drugs and Substances Strategy (i.e. prevention, treatment, harm reduction, and enforcement) with speakers from various organizations, including Reseau ACCESS NetworkMETA: PHI, and the Sault Area Hospital RAAM Clinic.
