Interested in becoming a voting representative for our chapter? s – Interested ?
Are you interested in representing the Sudbury chapter as a voting representative / delegate (VR) at the provincial RNAO Annual General Meeting (AGM) in June 2023? Our chapter can send four delegates to the AGM.
At the AGM, you will be expected to represent the views and perspectives of the Sudbury chapter, contribute to the debate, and vote on various motions and resolutions related to governance.
If interested in one of these roles, please submit your name to rnaosudbury@gmail.com, using the subject line: "RNAO – interested – Voting Rep. June AGM". The deadline for submitting your name is Wednesday March 1, 2023 by 6:00 p.m.
Please note: To be selected as a VR, you must:
- be an RN or NP
- attend a Sudbury chapter resolutions meeting on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
- be available to attend the RNAO AGM, which is scheduled from Thursday, June 22, 2023 (evening) to Friday, June 23, 2023 (daytime)
- the AGM will take place in Toronto (in person) - specific details will be confirmed closer to the time
The executive network officers (ENO) of the Sudbury chapter will review all submissions. Please note that any Sudbury Chapter ENOs who submit their name for consideration for the VR role will not be involved in delegate selection due to the conflict of interest.
We will notify the VRs we have selected by Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
