This year the Hamilton chapter of RNAO is offering:
one (1) bursary valued at $500.00 and one (1) Laura Packard Award valued at $250.00.
To be eligible for the general bursary, the applicant must:
- be nurse or student enrolled in a nursing program at the university level
- be a member in good standing with the RNAO Hamilton chapter
- be enrolled in a nursing related course or program at the post-graduate level or pursuing certification in a nursing specialty
- complete the application process
- provide proof of successful completion of course/program/certification
- not have received a bursary or award from RNAO Hamilton chapter within the past two-year period
- allow for publication of their name in the chapter newsletter and posted to the web-page and on Facebook
The Laura Packard Award was donated to honour the life of Laura, the daughter of a member, who passed away of a cancer related illness.
To be eligible for the Laura Packer Award, the applicant must:
- be nurse or student enrolled in a nursing program at the university level
- be a member in good standing with the RNAO Hamilton chapter
- be enrolled in a nursing related course or program at the post-graduate level specifically in pediatric oncology
- complete the application process
- provide proof of successful completion of course/program/certification
- not have received the Laura Packard Award from RNAO Hamilton chapter within the past two-year period
- allow for publication of their name in the chapter newsletter and posted to the web-page and on Facebook
