The Diabetes Nurses Interest Group (DNIG) is seeking applications for experienced, committed, skilled individuals to join the DNIG executive for the 2019-2021 term. We are seeking nominees who are passionate about the important role of nursing in the provision and co-ordination of diabetes care in acute and community care settings in Ontario.
The call for nominations is for the following DNIG board of director positions:
- chair-elect
- communications executive network officer (ENO)
- finance ENO
- membership ENO
Candidates must be members in good standing with DNIG and agree to serving a two-year term if elected.
To apply, fill out the attached nomination form and send to dnig.info@gmail.com. The nomination form must be accompanied by a brief description of the candidate’s skills outlining their appropriateness for the position including knowledge and experience (maximum one page). You may nominate yourself or another. The brief description of the candidate’s skills and experience may be published in communications to members.
Nominations must be received by the DNIG nominations committee no later than May 31, 2019.
