Hi, I hope you are thriving post-winter, though I appreciate there are many challenges in the healthcare sectors. These challenges are faced by you every time you go to work. My request is to offer a few hours to help our chapter. I hope to inspire a small-and-mighty executive (so far, moi) to represent our chapter. A priority is to ensure the local politicians know we are aware and have action plans to address important issues of nursing and health care.
This needs a community of nurses, and I invite you to step forward. The executive's monthly meetings will be efficient and effective. There are also opportunities to have fun. When you see lapses in nursing schedules, have patients/clients in less-than-viable housing, or lack access to health supports and Primary Care, and if you are concerned about climate change, RNAO can benefit from your efforts.
