Greetings South Simcoe Chapter members, 

This is the second and final call for nominations for Executive Network Officer (ENO) positions within the Chapter.

If you have been considering becoming more involved in your nursing community, this is your opportunity to step forward. Serving in a Chapter leadership role is a meaningful way to support RNAO’s work while advancing your own professional development.

Hi, I hope you are thriving post-winter, though I appreciate there are many challenges in the healthcare sectors.  These challenges are faced by you every time you go to work.  My request is to offer a few hours to help our chapter.  I hope to inspire a small-and-mighty executive (so far, moi) to represent our chapter. A priority is to ensure the local politicians know we are aware and have action plans to address important issues of nursing and health care.

Have you ever thought about the role you could play in shaping the work of RNAO?

South Simcoe Chapter is seeking members to volunteer as Consultation Representatives (CRs) for the upcoming RNAO Annual General Meeting (AGM).

CRs are part of a team of RNAO members who review and provide input on resolutions that help guide the direction of our association. This is a great opportunity to share your voice, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to shaping the future of nursing.

It's been a snowy winter here in South Simcoe, my first winter here by Georgian Bay.  As a recent resident formerly south of Hwy 7, I have been experiencing frequent snow showers (almost every day). Despite the weather, I hope some keen volunteers will step forward to help our chapter.  

There are a number of activities that we can be involved in, especially Queen's Park on the Road (QPOR).

We hope this email finds you well. We are delighted to announce that RNAO Region 9 and 10 are collaborating for a hybrid event taking place in Kingston, Ontario on May 9, 2023.  While nurses care a lot and are the backbone of health care, our backs are in need of care and tenderness. We anticipate the event will connect nurses and empower them through that connection. We expect it will also help to support nurses' better mental health and wellbeing.

Good morning South Simcoe Chapter members, 

This email is an invitation to join the upcoming Region 5 virtual meeting on Wednesday, March 29, 7pm. This meeting is exclusively for RNAO members in Region 5. This region includes Grey-Bruce, Muskoka-Huronia-Parry Sound and South Simcoe Chapters. 

Region 5 members will have an opportunity to learn about recent activities, network and provide suggestions for future events.
