Dear RNAO Dufferin–Caledon Chapter Members,
We hope this message finds you well. We are pleased to introduce the current leadership of the RNAO Dufferin–Caledon Chapter.
Tessa Vandenhoek RN, Chapter Chair, will be leading our local chapter work and representing member priorities across the region. Supporting this work is Aria Singh RN, our PPAN ENO (Policy & Political Action – Executive Network Officer), who will play a key role in advocacy, engagement, and advancing nursing practice in Dufferin–Caledon.
As your chapter leadership, we are committed to ensuring that local nursing voices are heard and reflected in advocacy efforts at the provincial level. In the coming months, we will be meeting with Sylvia Jones, MPP for Dufferin–Caledon, and it is important that this conversation reflects the realities, challenges, and priorities of nurses and nursing students in our community.
To support this work, we invite you to complete a short survey designed to gather input on local nursing practice issues, community health concerns, and advocacy priorities in Dufferin–Caledon. Your feedback will help inform our advocacy efforts and ensure that locally grounded issues are brought forward in discussions with provincial decision‑makers.
**ACTION** Kindly complete the survey here: https://myrnao.ca/dcsurvey2026
Lastly, if you are interested in joining the Chapter Executive, we are seeking six additional volunteers. Watch for an email titled First Call for Nominations in mid- to late April, which will outline everything you need to know to apply.
Thank you for taking the time to share your insights and for your continued commitment to nursing and health‑care advocacy. We look forward to working together and keeping you updated on our progress.
Warm regards,
Tessa Vandenhoek RN
