Paula Manuel is a retired RN widely recognized for her mentorship, photography, and long‑standing involvement with the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO). Throughout her many years with RNAO, she has received the Lifetime Achievement Award along with several other honours, and has served on RNAO's Board of Directors. She has held numerous roles within RNAO’s interest groups and chapters and continues to serve as the chief scribe for the Staff Nurse Interest Group.
Paula is also the author of the blog Life of a Nurse, which has earned multiple international awards. Within RNAO, she is equally known for her striking photography, which has become a signature part of her contributions to the nursing community.
