Dear Dufferin–Caledon Chapter Members,
We are inviting all Dufferin–Caledon chapter members to add your voice to Members’ Voices in preparation for the RNAO Assembly of Leaders on February 27, 2026.
As a chapter, we are required to report to RNAO on our work and activities from the past six months. The reporting period is November 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026, and member contributions are an important part of highlighting the work nurses are doing across our region.
Members’ Voices reports are organized according to RNAO’s ENDs, which describe the purpose and impact of RNAO’s work:
1. Engage with registered nurses and nursing students to stimulate membership and promote the value of belonging to a professional organization
2. Advance the role of nurses as members of a vital, knowledge‑driven, caring profession and as significant contributors to health
3. Speak out on emerging issues that impact nurses, the nursing profession, health, and health care
4. Influence healthy public policy to positively impact the determinants of health, support Medicare, and strengthen a publicly funded, not‑for‑profit health‑care system
If you have activities, initiatives, advocacy efforts, or examples from your nursing practice in the Dufferin–Caledon region that align with these ENDs, please email them to [email protected].
The deadline for submitting activities is February 5, 2026.
Thank you for helping ensure our chapter’s work and perspectives are well represented. Your voice matters.
Sincerely,
Tessa Vandenhoek RN, BN, CHE, CNL(C)
