Dear INIG members,

Two years ago you completed a needs assessment on topics you are interested in learning about.  As a follow up to the Needs Assessment, the INIG Executive Members are spearheading a research study entitled, "Contributions of Internationally Educated Nurses to Nursing in Canada".

The purpose of the study is to describe IENs’ contributions to nursing in 10 areas of nursing practice (clinical practice, education, research, policy advocacy, primary care, community health, long term care, public health, administration and leadership) using a survey method with direct questions.

This survey will be followed by an individual or two focus group interviews (15 participants in English and 15 participants in French) if you are interested in this aspect of the study.

If you are interested in participating in this study, please refer to the flyer posted on INIG's website for further information.

The online survey will only take 15 minutes of your time.

Thanks in advance for your support.

Sincerely,

Dr. Angela Cooper Brathwaite
