Dear NRIG members,
Nominations for open NRIG executive positions for the 2018-2020 term have ended. Results of the nomination process are as follows:
Secretary: Oona St. Amant, RN, PhD (acclaimed). Oona is an Assistant Professor at Ryerson University and will serve in the Secretary role for the 2018-2020 term.
Membership Officer: Christina Moldovan (acclaimed). Christina has held the Membership Officer role since the fall 2017. She will continue in the role until 2020.
Policy and Political Action Executive Network Officer: We received 2 nominations for this position, therefore an election is being held for this position. The candidates are:
- Sheila Boamah (incumbent)
- Marzieh Moattari
Student Liaison Executive Network Officer: We received 3 nominations for this position, therefore an election is being held for this position. The candidates are:
- Shivali Barot
- Raman Kaur
- Fazila Mulla
Voting for the Policy and Political Action Officer position and Student Liaison position will begin on Monday, October 15. An email with instructions for voting and candidate bios will be sent to all NRIG members on Oct. 15.
