Coping with Anxiety and Stress to Avoid Burnout Zoom event Feb 17th at 7pm via zoom.

No matter what age we are, many nurses have experienced Anxiety and Stress. Health issues, family issues, financial issues, work issues and self-expectations all increase the possibility of burnout. Once in the cycle, it is not easy to shake off. Acknowledging the problem exists, and seeking knowledge of why it is happening ,is the first step to living a more peaceful and happier life!

Join the Retired Nurses' Interest Group in welcoming back Pastor Dave Larmour.

David has spent the past 30 years helping people explore spirituality and recover their full humanity by creating safe opportunities for people to "belong" through his role as lead pastor of a local church. He has recently joined the mental health profession as a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychologists of Ontario and serves at Voice of Hope Counselling and Wellness Centre in Brooklin, Ontario. David has served at Master's College and Seminary as an adjunct faculty member. He has an undergraduate degree in theology, a master of arts in organizational leadership and a master of arts in counselling psychology. He is married and a father of two young adult daughters.
