The New RN Interest Group (NRNIG) is a dedicated community within the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO), supporting newly registered nurses as they transition into their professional roles. With a focus on addressing the unique needs and challenges of new RNs in Ontario, NRNIG provides valuable resources, guidance, and advocacy. The group is made up of over 6,200+ members from across the province, fostering a strong network of support and professional development for early-career nurses.

The NRNIG team headed to Queens Park Day in Toronto on February 26th. The highlight for the this day was the presentation addressing anti-Black racism in healthcare across Ontario. This event allowed nurse to share their experiences and raise their voices to speak against anti-Black racism in all sectors of healthcare.
