Dear NRNIG Member,
Have you been thinking about how to make a meaningful impact within your nursing community?
One of the most powerful ways to do so is by stepping into a leadership role with the New RN Interest Group.
The New RN Interest Group (NRNIG) is a dedicated community within the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO), supporting newly registered nurses as they transition into their professional roles. With a focus on addressing the unique needs and challenges of new RNs in Ontario, NRNIG provides valuable resources, guidance, and advocacy. The group is made up of over 5,200+ members from across the province, fostering a strong network of support and professional development for early-career nurses.
Why get involved?
As an interest group leader, you will have the opportunity to:
- Raise awareness of the nursing profession
- Network with fellow nurses and healthcare professionals
- Build connections with local politicians and decision-makers
- Strengthen your leadership skills and professional capacity
- Plan and host engaging events for members
If you're interested in contributing to this important work, we welcome you to get involved with the NRNIG Executive.
These roles offer a rewarding opportunity to contribute to RNAO’s work while also growing your own professional skills and expanding your network.
