Join us on Nov. 10, 2020 at 6 p.m. for our virtual #FallTour event with all chapters across Region 8 and RNAO President Morgan Hoffarth who will speak about our relentless advocacy to ensure nurses have what they need to fight COVID-19 on behalf of Ontarians, including urging the federal and provincial government to adopt the Nursing Home Basic Care Guarantee and ensure families are reunited in long-term care homes during outbreaks.
There will also be an opportunity to hear from nurses in the community about their thoughts and concerns on issues related to sectors significantly impacted by COVID-19, and an opportunity any member to weight in on concerns they have in their practice settings. We will also share on the successes that we, as members, should be proud of including the release of ECCO 3.0, a groundbreaking report that highlights the need for a strong health system that is rooted in community care and the growing media exposure RNAO has received that enables us to speak to the public.
This event will be held virtually via Zoom and all are invited to attend, including nursing students! Please ensure you have Zoom downloaded on your computer or device prior to the event.
