This year's panel session: Safety should always be at the forefront of health care for both patients and staff. Safety initiatives occurring across Ontario health centres have a significant impact resulting in better and safer care for our pediatric patients. Patients and families along with interprofessional staff, including nurses are advocates for strategies for error prevention, reducing preventable harm and the overall safety of all. In the panel, we will hear from various perspectives on how patients, families and nurses can come together to foster the best outcomes for safety.
