Dear RetNIG members
Thanks so much to those of you who attended the very informative and lively RetNIG AGM, on June 13, 2020. It was all virtual, and Rhonda did a fabulous job of inspiring us all, keeping us all on track, and seeing that the right documents were on the screen to support reporting and discussion.
In the meeting minutes please note two embedded links one for the call for nominations, for our Executive. And we ask all of you who are interested in being on our Executive to please put your name forward, for the two open positions that are now available-political action, and social media. The second link is to the Nursing Home Basic Care Guarantee and associated Action Alert. We are asking you to get behind this RNAO advocacy for more humane care in our Long Term Care Homes. Please share broadly. Thank you.
Finally in our meeting discussions we asked for your suggestions for topics for regular webinars we are planning for the upcoming year, and suggestions for additional membership benefits that would be meaningful to you. Please send ideas to Rhonda at seidmanr@rogers.com. You will see in the minutes those that were shared at the meeting.
