Dear NRIG members

I hope that the summer months are offering you an opportunity for some much-deserved rest and moments of joy with loved ones. We join you today with some announcements. 

New executive board 

We are so pleased to introduce the new members to the NRIG executive board 2022–2023:

1.      Amanda McIntyre – chair-elect

2.      Hong Gu – finance executive network officer (ENO)

3.      Simon Donato-Woodger – policy and political action ENO

4.      Nicole Serre – social media ENO

5.      Kieran Blake – student representative

6.      Connor Kucharic – student representative

7.      Claire Stather – student representative

8.      Caitlin Cosgrove – student representative

 

Our existing NRIG executive board members are:

2.      Dr. Kristine Newman – member at large, Awards

3.      Kylie Teggart – membership officer

4.      Linda Sheiban Taucar - communication officer, website              

5.      Tara Lundy – communication officer, newsletter

NEW – Vacancy in NRIG executive – secretary position open!

The NRIG secretary position is vacant and open for nomination. If you are a detail-oriented person who is willing to commit regular hours to the advancement of NRIG and attend all the NRIG meetings, please inquire with NRIG.Chair@gmail.com.

Upcoming annual general meeting (AGM) – Aug. 24

Our AGM will take place on Wednesday Aug 24 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. At the AGM, we will:

  • provide annual reports from the NRIG executive officers
  • welcome our incoming executive board members
  • thank our outgoing executives.
  • congratulate the annual winners of the NRIG awards and scholarships
