Join us on September 19, 2022 (Monday) from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for our virtual #FallTour with RNAO President Claudette Holloway (Twitter: @ClaudetteHollow) who will speak about the nursing crisis affecting the province and nation as well as RNAO’s relentless advocacy to repeal Bill 124, expedite the application process for internationally educated nurses and address the systemic anti-Black racism and discrimination that exists in the nursing profession.
We also invited Dr. Dana Menard, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Windsor, who will share her team’s findings on nurses’ experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.
RNAO also wants to hear from nurses in the community about your thoughts and concerns on any issues related to your practice or the health system more broadly and share the successes that we, as members, should be proud of. During the past year, we released Nursing Through Crisis: A Comparative Perspective, looking at the impact of the pandemic on nurses across the country as well as launched our social media campaign #IENaction.
All are invited to attend.
The deadline to register is September 18, 2022. Once you have registered, you will receive meeting details about how to join the meet and greet. If you do not receive those details, please email us at inigrnao20@gmail.com.
