**Other Opportunities

The Canadian Red Cross in Niagara is offering a new and exciting volunteering opportunity which may be of interest to GNAO members. It is called the Cardiovascular Health Awareness Program and it operates out of 7 Niagara Regional Housing buildings.  They are looking for volunteers over the age of 18, who are compassionate and interested in being involved in their community. Most of all, the volunteers of the CHAP program must enjoy interacting with seniors. Of course, our members have extremely valuable experience due to their nursing backgrounds, and likely much experience working with older adults.  Should you be interested in this opportunity, please contact Samantha Woodcroft, Coordinator, Community Connectors via email samantha.woodcroft@redcross.ca.
