We thank GNAO for supporting our 2020 Toronto Geriatrics Virtual Update Course. Register now and join your colleagues at our upcoming course!

Dear GNAO members,

Registration is now open for the Sinai Health System and the University Health Network's 8th annual Toronto Geriatrics Virtual Update Course – Providing Excellent Geriatric Care During the COVID-19 Pandemic. The course will take place on Friday, Oct. 30 via a Zoom webinar/meeting format.

Our annual geriatrics continuing professional development (CPD) course has been designed to provide front-line practitioners with the latest practical and evidence-based knowledge they need to better manage the care of their older patients. This year recognizing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to convert the program to a one-day virtual format with a specific focus on topics around infectious diseases and its impact on the delivery of care for a vulnerable older patient population.

This one-day CPD course will feature high quality/interactive lectures in the morning, followed by concurrent breakout sessions in the afternoon that focus on the assessment and management of geriatric issues and syndromes that have arisen during the current pandemic. We are leveraging the Zoom platform to allow us to continue to offer education opportunities safely while still incorporating the traditional interactive components of our program.

Please note that we are offering a discount exclusive to GNAO members for $25 off our current rates. Please use the coupon code gnao2020geriatricsupdate at checkout to apply the discount. This code will be valid until Friday, Oct. 9.

Sign up early to get into your preferred breakout session of your choice!
