The Diabetes Nurses Interest Group (DNIG) is seeking applications from experienced, committed, skilled individuals wishing to join the DNIG executive for the 2019-2021 term. We are seeking nominees who are passionate about the important role of nursing in the provision and co-ordination of diabetes care in acute and community settings in Ontario.
The call for nominations is for the following DNIG executive positions:
- chair-elect
- communications executive network officer (ENO)
- finance ENO
Candidates must be members in good standing with DNIG and agree to serving a two-year term if elected.
To apply, please fill out the attached nomination form and send to dnig.info@gmail.com along with a brief description of your skills outlining appropriateness for the position including knowledge and experience (maximum one page). Please tell us a bit about yourself. You may nominate yourself or another. The brief description of your skills and experience may be published in communications to members.
Nominations must be received by the DNIG nominations committee no later than October 25, 2019.
