Hello DNIG members,
First of all, we celebrate World Diabetes Day every Nov. 14 – the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting, who co-discovered insulin along with Charles Best in 1922. While we've come a long way since then, there is still very much to do. Thank you to all nurses who contribute in any way to the care of those living with diabetes
Second, join us on Nov. 30 for the Diabetes Nursing Interest Group Virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2023. During this virtual evening event, you'll meet your interest group executive and be updated on DNIG activities and given time to voice your questions/concerns.
