It's late fall and we're gearing up to visit the MPPs in Mississauga to speak out on the housing crisis and the nursing crisis. Where one lives and the affordability of that home is uppermost in Ontarians minds. Have an opinion to share drop us a line at rnaomississauga@gmail.com most of the meetings are on Fridays and they can be in person or virtual. It really helps if we have a constituent of the riding as the MPPs prefer to meet with someone from their community. Don't worry one of our PPANs will be there to support you.
Consultation Representative
Greetings! Spring is almost here, and it's time to volunteer for Consultation Representatives in our Mississauga Chapter. Sign up early as this is a popular duty and the RNAO Annual General Meeting will celebrate 100 years this year.
You have likely seen the emails inviting you to the AGM. Now, you will need to be available on the Thursday and Friday of May (29th and 30th) to fulfil the requirements. In addition, there will be a virtual session to review the 2025 resolutions and prepare for the Resolution session on May 30th. If you miss this session, you will be ineligible to be a Mississauga Consultation Representative.
If you are interested, you need to sign up as a consultation representative by April 18th and register for the RNAO 100th Annual General Meeting https://myrnao.ca/consultation_reps_2025
Resolutions will be available by mid-April, and the RNAO orientation session will likely be the week before the RNAO AGM.
