Registration open! "Uncovering pieces to the nursing crisis" educational event

Dear Grey-Bruce Chapter member, 

This email is an invitation to join the upcoming Region 5 virtual Education Session: “Uncovering Pieces to the Nursing Crisis Puzzle” on September 20, from 5:30-7:00pm.

This event is exclusively for RNAO members in Region 5, which consists of Grey-Bruce, Muskoka-Huronia-Parry Sound and South Simcoe Chapters.

There will be an overview of the RNAO “Nursing Through Crisis: A Comparative Perspective”, followed by a panel of leaders from acute care. Panelists will share strategies for recruitment and retention in their organizations.

Region 5 members will have an opportunity to ask questions and offer solutions as part of the session. 

Session Objectives:

1. Participants will gain insights on the Region 5 impacts of the current nursing crisis.
2. Participants will have an opportunity to engage with leaders from local hospitals and LTC leaders.
3. Participants will learn about recruitment and retention strategies in Region 5.  
4. Participants will have an opportunity to pose questions or offer solutions for the current nursing crisis.
