We are excited to share that RNAO’s annual general meeting (AGM) will be taking place virtually from June 9-11, 2022. The Huron Perth Chapter will be able to send 4 members as consultation representatives. As a consultation representative, members will weigh in on resolutions that will help shape the association's agenda and focus. Deadline has been extended until Friday May 13th at 5 PM.

Good Afternoon Huron Perth Chapters,
The annual AGM is happening Jun 12 - 13 of 2020. The AGM is an amazing opportunity to become engaged with other nurses, programs and the direction of the RNAO. Over the past 5 years with the RNAO, I have gone to the AGM with a number of different people who all leave the event feeling inspired, motivated and excited.

Develop a better understanding of the evidence-based recommendations identified within four mental health and substance use RNAO best practice guidelines (BPG) during our full-day workshop, hosted by Region 2. These guidelines will help health-care professionals build capacity and support practice when working with clients experiencing mental health or substance use challenges. The BPGs that will be presented are:
Please join the Huron-Perth Chapter of RNAO on March 7th as we host our 4th annual Legal Issues in Nursing talk, this year focusing on Cannabis Legalization.
The event runs from 5:30 - 8:30pm at the Festival Inn in Stratford.
The evening will begin with a buffet dinner, followed by a short introductory presentation discussing the demographics of cannabis use, and potential implications to health, and end with a presentation from attorney Mae Jane Nam on the legalities of cannabis use.
