Posted on April 1, 2026, 10:10 a.m.

Greetings Wellington Chapter RNAO Members,

A warm welcome to all our new and returning members!

We are Andrea Rutherford and Helen Tindale, your Co‑Chairs for the 2025–2026 term.

We’re excited to share updates from across Wellington and to bring our community together for engaging events throughout the year.

Meet Your 2025–2026 Wellington Chapter Executive:
• Margaret Boyle Class – Finance ENO
• Megan Pople – Membership/Communications ENO
• Mary Anne Oribhabor – Policy & Political Action (PPAN)/Communications ENO
• Matteen Naziry – Student ENO
• Danielle Macabio – Student ENO

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Myah Douglas Muise, our outgoing PPAN, who has begun an exciting new role in RNAO’s Policy and Political Action department. We wish her every success.

Recently, we attended the RNAO Fall Assembly in Toronto, where we connected with colleagues from across the province and celebrated the opening of RNAO’s new head office. In February, Helen, Mary Anne, and Matteen participated in Queen’s Park on the Road, gaining valuable insights into current nursing issues.

Looking ahead, we will be meeting with MPP Joseph Racinsky (Wellington–Halton Hills) on Friday, April 17, 2026, alongside our PPAN, Mary Anne. Please share any local nursing or health‑care concerns you’d like us to bring forward.

You’ll continue to receive updates and joint newsletters with the Waterloo Region Chapter. We welcome your nursing news and highlights—email us anytime at: [email protected]

Get involved!
Stay tuned for emails mid-April, with the subject line, "First call for nominations; Join the Wellington Chapter Executive". This email will outline all available Executive positions, which will be:
