Hello Algoma chapter nembers,
Our Algoma chapter is eligible to select a maximum of three consultation representatives for RNAO’s annual general meeting (AGM) taking place on Friday, June 10, 2022. The timing and format of the event will be finalized in the coming weeks as the RNAO home office continues to monitor public health directives related to gatherings.
Consultation representatives weigh in on resolutions submitted by members that will help shape the association’s agenda. The AGM is your chance to see your association at work for you. And it's a great place to meet your nursing colleagues from across the province.
How to register as a consultation representative
Registration as a consultation representative is limited to our allotted number of three representatives, and will be selected on a first come, first served basis. You must be an Algoma chapter member in good standing in order to register for one of these roles. If you're interested, please let us know by filling in the registration form at this link: https://myrnao.ca/2022consultationreps.
All mandatory requirements for consultation representatives are outlined on the registration form. Kindly ensure you fully understand and agree with the requirements before submission.
Please note that if there are no available spaces left, you will not be able to access the registration link. However, if registering as a consultation representative is full, you can still register as an alternate.
Registering as an alternate
Our chapter can register as many eligible alternates as we wish, subject to interest. Alternates should be ready to step in when a consultation representative is unable to perform their required duties. If you are interested in being an alternate, please contact the Algoma chapter president (Lil Bressan via e-mail: lil.bressan@gmail.com), with your expression of interest and contact information.
The deadline to register as a consultation representative or alternate is Monday, April 11, 2022 (5 p.m. ET).
Thank you for considering this excellent opportunity to learn, network and represent our chapter.
