Season's greetings

Posted on Dec. 19, 2023, 10 p.m.

Happy holidays to DNIG members across Ontario.

We are grateful for all those members practicing in diabetes or with an interest in it. For those living with diabetes and those yet to live with it, having a nurse on their team changes that experience for the better. It is imperative that the nursing voice is strong as we do research, provide care and write policy for this disease that can have devastating consequences.

2024 is going to be an exciting year for both executive and members as we try out new and innovative ways to connect with each other, share experiences and wisdom and energize each other in this very important field of nursing. We are kicking off the new year with an open meeting on Jan. 8 where members are invited to share knowledge and experience, learn from colleagues and make friends in the process. This will be the first of a few get togethers throughout 2024. On Jan. 8, the goal is simply to connect with members, find out challenges in your own workplace/life and to explore ideas/topics for future evenings. Bring your ideas for education/courses and experiences that might benefit others. Ask questions and network.

Sign up on HERE or email Lisa at dnig.info@gmail.com.

We look forward to seeing you on Jan. 8. Until then, may you know peace and kindness throughout this holiday season.
