Hi all,
Thank you to those who came out to our Nov. 26, 2018 social event featuring the Waterloo Region Elder Abuse Response Team. We had a great turn out, and great insight on elder abuse, how to recognize it, and what resources are available to the community in regards to elder abuse.
For our next meeting, we will focus on education and resources in the Waterloo region for nurses, focusing on harm reduction and naloxone education. Please save the date on Jan. 16, 2019 for our RNAO Waterloo Chapter January meeting. Our meeting will feature guest speakers from the Region of Waterloo Public Health and Emergency Services and the Sanguen Health Centre.
The meeting will take place on Jan. 16, 2019:
- Networking 5:40 to 5:45 p.m.
- Chapter Meeting 5:45 to 6 p.m.
- Guest Speaker 6 to 8 p.m.
