Dear RNAO member,
Nursing Week is fast approaching (May 8 – 14, 2023) and we need to ensure our voices are heard to advance the profession and improve Ontario’s health system! We’re joining the RNAO home office’s initiative to turn its new Nursing Career Pathways report into action by celebrating colleagues who stand out for their love of and commitment to nursing and who are worthy of acknowledgment and celebration by their colleagues.
Please take part in this initiative. Do you know an RNAO member whose work should be highlighted? Or would you like to put yourself forward? Send us a nomination by Monday, April 3, 2023.
Note: We welcome nominations concerning nurses working in any domain or sector. Please ensure the nominee knows you’re submitting their name, and they are willing to participate.
To nominate yourself or a nursing colleague within Brampton Chapter or any of the interest groups, please respond to RNAObrampton@gmail.com and answer the following four questions (150 words or less per response):
- What is the nominee’s role?
- What sector of the system do they work in?
- Why should this nurse be profiled?
- Any additional relevant details to add?
