Happy New Year!  The Maternal Child Nursing Interest Group invites you to our first webinar of 2021.

We are delighted to have Dr Cindy Maxwell discuss equity, diversity and inclusion for obstetrical care providers and implications for reproductive health care. Her article "Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Departments of Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Reproductive Health"  was published in JOGC Aug 2020.

Her clinical and research interests include pregnancy affected by Class III obesity, malignancy, and gastrointestinal conditions.  Dr Maxwell was board certified in Obesity Medicine in 2015.

In 2020 Dr Maxwell was appointed as Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Officer, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, University of Toronto. She is also a member of the Maternal Neonatal Committee of the Provincial Council for Maternal and Child Health.
