BIO: Cindy Peternej Taylor is currently working as a Professor with the College of Nursing, University of Saskatchewan. Her area of expertise is mental health nursing in general, with clinical and research interests in forensic psychiatric nursing, correctional nursing, and the impact of mental illness on the family. Her research and scholarship focuses on professional role development for nurses and other healthcare professionals who work with vulnerable populations in forensic psychiatric and correctional settings, with particular emphasis on ethical issues that emerge from practice (e.g. boundary violations, whistleblowing, Othering, and ethical decision making).
