Across Boundaries: An Ethnoracial Mental Health Centre

Bio:
Lena Peters is an outspoken activist, educator, and arts-based facilitator born and raised Tkaronto (Toronto). She has facilitated workshops and training on rape culture and colonialism, anti-racism, and intersectionality theory, among many others. The daughter and granddaughter of Trinidadian immigrants, Lena is proud of her family and many other Caribbean immigrants' contributions to Canada's vibrant cultural fabric. Currently, Lena works full-time as the manager of AR/AO training at Across Boundaries, a mental health centre that provides supports and services for racialized people across the Greater Toronto Area. Across Boundaries acknowledges the impact of racism and anti-Black-racism on mental health.
