I am so happy to announce that we are ready to have our annual meeting as part of the annual RNAO meeting. It has been a long time since there has been any activity from the Campus Nurses group but we are hoping to create some fresh movement!!
Cathy Jager the Education and Nurse Manager from McMaster Student Wellness and Dr. Fletcher one of her amazing MD's will present on Trans Care, what training is needed, health promotion, what medical and counselling care is provided and how they have handled challenges along the way.
Then Dr. Michelle Acorn the New International Council of Nurses Chief Officer (who just recently left her position as the Chief Nursing Officer of Ontario) will share her story around her career trajectory from frontline ER nurse to Chief
I know it will be a fantastic two hours and I hope you can all find the time to drink your Saturday morning coffee with us while we impart some fantastic information your way.
The talk is on June 26th from 830 am and end at 1030 am. I have expanded the time from 8am to 11am just to ensure we have no technical glitches.
