The RNAO Occupational Health Nurses Interest Group (OHNIG) executive team is reaching out to all members to vote so we can increase the membership fees.
It was a difficult decision to move forward however, the fees have remained stagnant for years and the costs of maintaining the group has gone up especially with social media (the website), professional speaker costs, room costs and more.
Please know that we are trying to do as much as possible with what we have. We are revamping the website, have had two webinars on general occupational health and cannabis and the workplace. We are going to be doing additional webinars on PPE, and the IRS (Internal Responsibility System) and more.
We as a group would like to do more and with more funding.
Start date of new fees are effective Nov. 1, 2020.
Therefore, please consider this when voting. We would like to make the following rate increases.

RNs/NPs current rate is $20 increase proposed new rate is $30

Students current rate is FREE increase proposed new rate is $5

The voting period is now open and closes on December 9th at 12pm.. at noon EST. The results will be announced via email.
