Good afternoon CHNIG members,
As January comes to an end, we are another week closer to hosting our very own, and very first, CHNIG Workshop! The workshop will focus on "Exploring the World of Community Nursing" and will be an all-day event taking place Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Novotel Hotel (3 Park Home, North York).
We invite all Community Health Nurses (CHNs) and Nursing Students to join us for an opportunity to participate in a shared knowledge exchange session, meet CHNIG Board members as well as members from RNAO and CHNC and much more!
Our main objectives include:
- Participants will gain insights from leaders on potential impact on community health nursing of 'Patients First' implementation in Ontario.
- Nursing students and CHNs will network and exchange knowledge to explore the realm of community health nursing opportunities.
Keynote speaker, Kaiyan Fu from Saint Elizabeth, will deliver a presentation on: Excellence in Community Health Nursing: Innovations & Back to Basics. Participants will also hear from other Community Health Nursing Leaders on our expert nursing panel. We will finish our day with the winner of our student video contest providing the closing keynote speech, for details on the contest click here.
